PLCB-Owner/Manager Training

Owner/Manager Training is offered and required by the PA Liquor Control Board as part of the Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP), which focuses on those individuals most responsible for determining daily operations and policies of the licensed establishment — the owner and manager. Complete training requirements and licensing information can be found on lcb.pa.gov. This local training session will be offered on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 8:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Corry Higher Education Council. All sessions are free and require registration on the PLCB website at https://www.lcb.pa.gov

Enjoying Digital Photography
with Corry Area Photography Club
Members of the Corry Area Photography club present ‘Enjyoing Digital Photography’. This class will enable students to take their cameras off AUTO mode and learn to make excellent photos using many of the functions found in the camera. Included in the sessions: manual mode, aperture mode, shutter mode, ISO, white balance, metering, and other shooting basics as well as lighting, composition, and many other items which will raise your photos from average to wall-worthy. During the teaching sessions, members of the Corry Area Photography Club will be present to help you find the settings on your camera, and to help participants utilize the tips and suggestions made by the club members teaching the class. This will be extremely hands-on, so no one feels confused or left behind. Participants will practice as many of the lessons as possible while in class and give you time to practice at home. Students are required to bring their own cameras.
This two-part class will be held on Thursday, December 4 and Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6:30p-8:30p at the Corry Hi-Ed. The cost to register is $20, and registration can be completed by visiting the Corry Hi-Ed website at www.corryhied.org or by calling 814-664-9405.

Hosted by Dr. Matthew Platz, Executive Director of the Corry Higher Education Council, this workshop includes a 60-minute demonstration and hands-on walk through Placer.ai technology for local businesses. This training is for owners and managers of brick-and-mortar businesses—retail, restaurants, services, attractions, nonprofits—who want clearer answers to questions like: Who is visiting my location? When? From where? How do I compare to competitors? Where should I market next?
What you will learn:
-Foot-traffic trends: See visit volume and repeat-visitor patterns over time.
-Trade-area mapping: Identify your true customer catchment areas by census block/group.
-Visitor profiles: Explore demographics, home/work origins, and day-part behavior.
