No Small Matter
Bring your friends and family to a movie screening at the Corry Hi-Ed! No Small Matter is the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for change in America today: early childhood education. Through poignant stories and surprising humor, the film lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years and reveals how our failure to act on that evidence has resulted in an everyday crisis for American families, and a slow-motion catastrophe for the country. The Washington Post described the film as “well-argued and urgent, this is a film that everyone who care about the future of our country should consider seeing.”
The free movie screening will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4p-6p at the Corry Higher Education Council. Preregistration is required by visiting www.corryhied.org or by calling 814-664-9405.
