Back by popular demand - introduction to macrame (new instructor)! The centuries-old textile crafting medium is an easy and affordable way to decorate any space. With projects that check the box aesthetically and functionally, the possibilities to create art to fit anyone’s lifestyle are endless. Consisting of minimal tools, the art of macrame blossoms by combining various types of hand-knotted cord, yarn, or the like, to create beautiful hanging baskets, plant holders, garments, and wall hangers. During this 2-week workshop on Wednesdays, January 22 & January 29 from 4p-6p, participants will learn some of the macrame basics and will construct a wall hanging to take home. The $45.00 registration cost includes all materials necessary, which participants will receive at the beginning of the class. The deadline to register is Wednesday, January 15, so don’t delay!
